Pinnacle Campus Parking Expansion

ACC recently acquired an additional 36.5 acres directly east of the Pinnacle Campus – land that will be used to create approximately 438 new parking spaces and another avenue to enter/exit Pinnacle property. The new driveway will be located at the intersection of US Hwy. 290 and Convict Hill Road. ACC expanded the scope of the project (original plans called for 200 new spaces) after enrollment spiked 17 percent at Pinnacle this fall. The construction schedule is very aggressive in order to complete the additional spots while maintaining the fall 2010 completion target. The additional 438 spots will mean a total of over 970 spaces at Pinnacle. The project team expects that will accommodate students, faculty, and staff even at peak times of the day.
